A lot of planning to do! I have set up a Folksy shop (OK Gorilla Handmade Books).

And I am now on Twitter, @ericabookbinder

Hello everyone!

Here’s a list of events, up to December 2009, at which my super books will be appearing:

  • Bank Street Arts Fair, November 7th
  • Thoresby Winterfest, November14th and 15th
  • Cooper Gallery, Barnsley Christmas Craft Fayre, November 21st
  • Holmfirth Art Market, November 22nd
  • Craft Candy Sugar Cane Christmas Fair, November 28th and 29th, at the Workstation, Sheffield
  • Harley Gallery Christmas Art Market, Nottinghamshire, November 28th and 29th- 2 events in one weekend! Many thanks to Cam and Laura, who will be book-sitting for me at the Workstation.
  • Bank Street Arts Fair, December 5th
  • See you soon!

Coming up- I will be at the Creswell Crags Arts Festival on Sunday 2nd August.

The Crags have been home to artists for thousands of years, but there does not appear to be any evidence of a bookbinder ever being there, until now!

Spring Fling!

Knew I’d forgotten something- I’m taking part in Craft-candy’s ‘Spring Fling’ at the Workstation in Sheffield, Saturday 28th March- 4 days time !

New Workshop!

I have  recently moved into a studio at Bank Street Arts, in Sheffield city centre. Much better than working at home,  a new start in a creative environment!

I’m taking part in Open Up Sheffield again this year, from Bank Street, see their website for details.
